Preview + Video + Blog = PREVLOG. It's science.

Welcome back! In our 2nd annual video installment, Maggie and I discuss our off-season hibernation, Season 5 DVD Nerd Kit and some preliminary thoughts on Season 6. Sorry for the grainy quality, we were filming in the proximity of some of the Island's exotic matter.

You'll see appearances from Kate Austen and Mr. Linus. Yeah, we were able to get them. We're huge in Hawaii.

Anyway, enjoy! We'll see you next week with a few preview posts and some theory articles as we ramp up to 2-2-2010. It's gonna be a good one.

LA X.

I am buying into the theory that the bomb goes off and the world is reset. The 815ers land in LA. I don't know about the people that are in the current time (Sun, Locke, dead people, WALT! and other), but the 77ers are back to the present day. But much like we saw with Charlie's death. Fate will course correct matters and somehow get those people back to the island. Even though they tried to change future events, they cannot change the course they were destined for. The 77ers were destined to be on the island to settle the dispute between Jacob and the Man in Black, so they will find a way onto the island somehow. There are several holes to this theory, but I think it can work. People that are paid professionally to write the show can figure everything else out.

Also, I would have appreciated if you didn't vacuum while filming this vlog. I'd write more, but I have a sudden thirst for 7up.

Love the theory that MIB is Smokey is the ghosts, but I have a question. In the case of Locke and Yemi the bodies aren't "possessed" they are just imitated (the corpses are still around to be seen). But Christian's body was missing from the coffin.

Laura - yes, see today's post. Well, I don't have the biblical chops to tackle LOST supper, but the New York Times did, and I posted a link.

Dave Hanson (btw, you and my boss share a name, first and last. Eerie) - Indeed, Locke's body was in the crate outside the foot, lifeless; and inside the foot, quite lively. I'm not sure how they're planning to explain this, but I think it'll have something to do with how "special" Locke is.

Today I posted a theory from DarkUFO about how Locke has always been MIB, a reincarnation type thing. Not sure if that theory would explain why Locke's body was 2 places at once, but it's interesting nonetheless.

It might also be that the MIB just "emulates" a body, and doesn't need the physical flesh and bone to do what he does.
